Reflection 2 process and compare and contrast esaays
English lesson 125 in the writing section is easy and at the same time hard in some ways. I learnt writing procedure and Compare and contrast.
The writing process was easy, but nothing is easy without practice .It’s a good thing to learn new thing and developing my writing to the next step that is one of the many reasons which let me feel confident in this type of writing. also I must write around 150 words in present simple (passive voice) sequences linking words such as first, second ,next…etc .I faced some difficulties in linking words such as the, a tie in beginning and middle of the sentences , also at the same time I should add some more words from my knowledge to get completed sentences and must the verbs to be in past participle with is for single and are for plural adding before them .In addition, I should concentrate on when the flow chart starts and follow until the end to put the steps in the right order and that was a little hard because sometimes you can mix that by putting one order before the other and when you continue you will get the whole procedure wrong in the order of steps.
However, compare and contrast essay is the most difficult one because I must discover the similarities and differences between two things and write about it logically supported by reasons. The essay contains introduction about three sentences, at least 3 or 4 similarities discussion, at least 3 or 4 differences discussion and a conclusion you should say what you prefer and in the same no need to be negative against one side .The main problem when I write I must think how to make this compare and contrast attractive to the reader and connected with how much information I have, by writing about 200 words. But, as I said, with more practice you will achieve your goal.
I would like to learn more from Mr. Hedley and I want to thank him for his help and encouraging me a lot until I reached my goal. In the end of this course I want to thank every single one for any help I got from him.
